Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the teenager age. After a kickboxing training session, wrestling BJJ and BJJ she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was just 18. Ladd later went on to win three fights in a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents were defeated within the first five minutes. Aspen returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian as well as Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia was superior to Aspen as she beat her with a unanimous decision. Cynthia's record as an amateur was affected. Ladd recovered from this loss and defeated Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-1. Aspen was a professional when she entered the ranks in 2015. Aspen signed with Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta Fc 11, she defeated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the fight in the first round via TKO. Invicta took on her in the Bantamweight division and prevailed via armbar submission in the 2nd round. Aspen utilized the techniques she learned from wrestling to defeat McGill. She won her bout via the TKO (3rd round) (elbows and punches). Aspen then went on to take on Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 at a catchweight that was 138.1lb. Ladd was not capable of achieving the weight but Aspen took the victory and defeated Hoy via TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her final fight for the company. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks be defeated in a an unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, against Lina Langsberg. She was a step ahead of Lina and ground-and-pounded her for a second-round TKO victory. When she next faced Tonya Evinger in UFC 229, her victory was even more impressive. Ladd was able to defeat Evinger in the very first round and received a bonus for the performance of the night. Sijara Eubanks from Invicta FC was her opponent for a rematch at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was her debut major fight. Ladd won the night's main event fight bonus, after both fighters had an intense fight back and forth. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in 16-seconds to break her streak of winning. Yana Knitskaya fell by Ladd in the third round of UFC 7 on ESPN. In a recent match replacement for UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. The fight was unanimously decided in her favor.
