Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
The babies were at the crib, while I was strapped in with a baby on my back. Ha! The home was beginning to look good, but there was a lot to be done. The home would require a great deal of effort and an enthusiasm for shopping. In order to stay within my budget, I started going to estate sales with my three sons to find gems hidden in the dirt. We used to go on a weekly basis of walking around garage sales and auctions on the weekend and purchase a range of furniture, both new and old made. My work days were spent at the end of the driveway, either painting or sanding. My passion for restoration of furniture began when I saw a style that was similar to this. Even though our home had been decorated, I was unable to put down. In the market in town, I rented a small space and sold some objects. Eventually I had more pieces that I had no idea about and outgrew the area. Then I began hosting open houses at my house which saw over 1 000 guests would come through in the span of a weekend. They could purchase anything they wanted on the ground floor. Growing Days is the result from this. My business was not only thriving but I was growing our sweet family as well. There was a perfect balance between starting a business as well as being a mom. Growing Days was the obvious decision. My sweet Nora came into the world in 2013 and was our fourth baby. I was thrilled with where my company was going, but I wanted some time off. I decided to slow down and stay in my home with my children. This was just what I was looking for. After a couple of months, the phone began to start to. I was getting calls from people needing help with decorating their homes and interior improvements. Most of them visited my home in my open houses for furniture. After a while, I took on clients according to my schedule. Soon I had numerous accounts as well as a home renovations company. If you had told me that my business would be the premise for a DIY Network show, I would probably have thought you were crazy. As I reflect at it, it has made me laugh.
